Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist
Support individuals in achieving health and work outcomes through evidence-based practices.
* Provide case management services to clients with diverse needs and goals;
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and employees to develop effective workplace solutions;
* Assess and implement injury prevention and education programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment;
* Conduct assessments and evaluations to support return-to-work planning and goal setting;
* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery;
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client caseloads, prioritizing tasks and resources for optimal outcomes;
* Apply clinical knowledge and expertise to inform case decisions and interventions;
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service coordination and effectiveness;
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research to advance professional knowledge and skills;
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to refine processes and improve client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., rehabilitation counseling, psychology, social work, occupational therapy);
* Professional registration or certification (e.g., AHPRA, ASORC, AASW);
* Proven experience in occupational rehabilitation, preferably with a focus on case management and program development;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with capacity to navigate complex situations and make informed decisions;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
