This project will strengthen wharves, install massive piles, and construct heavy-duty slabs and pavements in preparation for one of the most significant offshore transitions in decades, and this project is the foundation that makes it possible.

We are seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support the delivery of civil and structural works for the Barry Beach Marine Terminal upgrade. This role offers exposure to a wide range of activities including heavy-duty concrete slabs, flexible pavements, drainage systems, ground stabilisation, and marine support structures. You will assist in planning, coordination, and technical compliance while learning from experienced engineers and contributing to a landmark project.
Key Responsibilities
* Support project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
* Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractor engagement.
* Help monitor quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
* Contribute to safety initiatives and attend toolbox talks.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
* Assist in resolving technical issues and liaise with site teams.
* Participate in progress tracking and cost monitoring.
About You
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management (or nearing completion).
* Strong interest in civil and marine infrastructure projects.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
* Awareness of WHS and quality standards.
* Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to project platforms (Procore, SharePoint) is a plus.
