We now have a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Commercial & Industrial business and our engineering distribution team. This newly created role will report to the Program Manager VIC/TAS/SA/NSW and will be responsible for the portfolio of engineering and construction projects within our bulk fuel terminals in Gore Bay and Clyde, NSW (and occasionally interstate).
Job Description
* Lead end-to-end delivery of engineering and construction projects in Viva Energy operating fuel terminals in Gore Bay, Clyde and occasionally interstate.
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement from concept through commissioning.
* Coordinate engineering, operations, HSE, contractors and regulatory bodies.
* Ensure projects meet technical, safety and compliance requirements.
* Prepare project documentation as per project management framework, forecasts, approvals and progress reporting.
* Drive strong contractor performance and support continuous improvement in project delivery.
Qualifications
About you
* As a minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or similar).
* Experience in engineering and/or project management ideally within fuel terminals, oil & gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial environments / Major Hazard Facilities.
* Strong understanding of engineering design, construction, commissioning and operational interfaces.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and operate effectively in live, brownfield environments
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
