We are looking for someone with a unique blend of experience in High-Risk work training and a strong understanding and application of the RTO Standards.
We are currently awaiting TAC Registration and are excited to have a dedicated training manager in place to ensure our successful application and building our Training Centre from the ground up.
As an integral position within this new branch of our business, you will build on the current strategy, materials and equipment and develop the training programs and a successful team for the new RTO.
What you'll be doing
Provide strategic direction for the RTO to ensure the effective and compliant delivery of vocational education and training programs
Manage and advise on the RTO's compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and requirements
Oversee and advise on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies, policies, and procedures
Monitor the performance of the RTO and implement corrective actions as required
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment within the RTO and associated businesses
Recruit and develop trainers and assessors
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Actively participate in the strategic planning and decision-making processes
What we're looking for
Experience (3+ years) in a similar training role, with a proven track record of successfully growing a vocational education and training business
Minimum of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification
Thorough understanding of the vocational education and training sector, including relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent leadership, management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Qualifications in Work Safely at Heights, Entry and Work in Confined Spaces and Gas Test Atmospheres is essential
Experience across multiple high-risk training areas including working at heights, confined spaces, and gas atmosphere testing or willingness to obtain
Qualification in Polymer Processing is highly advantageous
