The Role
In the age of narrow specialisation, this role represents a rareopportunity for an exceptional candidate to secure a truly diverserole that allows further development of a particular interest areabut also the chance to work across a diverse and interestingbroader litigation practice.
The role involves running and assisting with litigation with aprofessional liability element, including complex claims, but mayalso involve advice on policy coverage, regulatory requirements,and risk work. The role would sit within Cooper Grace Ward’smarket leading litigation and dispute resolution practice, headedby Rocco Russo. The successful candidate must be well equipped torun professional indemnity matters but also general commerciallitigation across a wide range of subject areas.
The role presents a unique opportunity for the right candidateto further develop a speciality in the professional indemnity areawhile also working in a market leading general commerciallitigation practice in a highly respected commercial law firm.
About You
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
* Outstanding experience and credentials in the relevantpractice areas gained at a leading law firm(s)
* Very strong technical credentials and ability
* Excellent written communication skills including theability to write complex and technical advice
* Ability to manage a varied case load
* Ability to quickly assimilate new information andproblem-solve complex legal issues
* Sound judgement and commercial acumen
* A proactive, innovative and energetic approach
* The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team.
