About Port Pirie Regional Health Service
Port Pirie Regional Health Service is a 52-bed acute facility delivering a wide range of services including:

The service also includes Hammill House Residential Aged Care, co-located onsite.

Acute Medical / Palliative Care Unit (Ward A)
A dynamic unit caring for patients across the lifespan, including acute medical, paediatric, mental health, and palliative care presentations.
Opportunities exist to develop skills in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, ALS/MER response, mental health, and end-of-life care.

A combined surgical and maternity unit providing care for post-operative patients as well as postnatal women and newborns. Surgical specialties include orthopaedic, ENT, urology, general surgery, endoscopy and dental.

Perioperative Services
Two operating theatres providing services five days per week plus on-call.
