Hydraulic Design Engineer – Technical & Hydraulic Design of Temporary Pumping Systems
Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for fluid dynamics, system design, and innovative problem-solving? We are seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer to drive technical excellence in the design and implementation of temporary pumping systems. In this role, you will collaborate with consulting engineers, contractors, and internal sales teams to develop effective, efficient, and cost-optimized pumping solutions that meet client needs and business goals.

Core Responsibilities:
* Design and optimize bypass pumping systems and other fluid-handling applications.
* Provide technical and strategic product support for pump selection and system design.
* Prepare and manage bids, proposals, and project estimates for temporary bypass pumping services.
* Collaborate with sales teams to drive customer engagement and foster long-term client relationships.
* Guide field operations on the proper setup, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of pumping systems.
* Support internal and external stakeholders with expert engineering consultation on product applications.
* Communicate technical insights and reports to ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders.
* Stay ahead of industry advancements, regulations, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil engineering focus).
* Proven ability to analyze technical documents, manage multiple projects, and work with ambiguity.
* Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Experience leading technical discussions and collaborating across teams.
* 3+ years of experience in pump applications, selection, and system design.
* Strong knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics, and temporary bypass pumping systems.
* Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
* Proficiency with Salesforce, MathCAD, and pump selection software is a plus.
