Job Description:
The TFM Practitioner and Residential Care Worker role is pivotal in providing therapeutic care to children and young persons.
About the Role:
This position involves delivering intensive, time-limited care that addresses complex impacts of abuse, neglect, and separation from family.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions
* Implement current best practice therapeutic guidelines to ensure child safety and well-being
* Support young persons in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence
* Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including household duties and meal provision
Requirements:
* A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or other higher level qualification in Social Work/Youth Work is essential
* Valid driver's license is required for transporting young persons as needed
* Completion of mandatory upskilling units as per Departmental requirements is necessary
