About the role:
Responsible for direct supervision and performance management of clinical practitioners, and for the execution of Medical Director–approved clinical policies, procedures, and frameworks across day‐to‐day operations.
The role translates clinical governance standards into operational practice, ensuring workforce capability, scheduling, performance, and processes deliver safe, high‐quality care at scale, while continuing to lead clinic operational performance and improvement.
Key Accountabilities:

* Clinical Leadership & Supervision
o Lead, manage, and hold accountable clinical practitioners and the Clinic Operations team, including performance management, coaching, and capability development.
o Drive practitioner engagement, productivity, and quality performance in line with organisational standards.
o Accountable for the implementation and adherence to Medical Director–approved clinical policies, procedures, and frameworks.
o Translate governance requirements into operational workflows, training, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure consistent application in practice.
o Own and achieve scorecard measurables for clinical operations, including practitioner performance, quality indicators, productivity, and capacity outcomes.
o Ensure staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning support safe, reliable service delivery.
o Analyse clinical and operational performance data, quality metrics, and feedback to drive improvement initiatives.
o Collaborate cross‐functionally to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and strengthen service delivery.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience leading and managing multidisciplinary healthcare or clinical operations teams, including direct people leadership and performance management. (Desired: Experience working in telehealth or digitally enabled models of care.)
* Strong leadership background within healthcare, telehealth, or primary care environments, leading clinical and non‐clinical teams.
* Proven experience implementing clinical governance frameworks, policies, and quality standards within operational settings.
* Experience managing workforce planning, scheduling, and capacity in a regulated clinical environment.
* Strong understanding of clinical quality, risk management, compliance, and patient safety principles.
* Track record of delivering measurable improvements in performance, productivity, quality, and service outcomes.
* Experience using operational and performance data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with senior clinical leaders and cross‐functional stakeholders.
