We are looking for a Full Time Duty Leader to join our team at Oasis Murrumbeena, our original and flagship location. Ideally you will have experience as a department lead or duty manager in a similar store; with demonstrable skills in leading a small team. We are known for our carefully curated offer of fresh, frozen, pantry goods, all delivered with exceptional and informed customer service. You will lead from the front, sharing your knowledge with your team and customers alike.
**What we are looking for**:
- An experienced leader who will champion the culture of the store
- An eye for detail, with the ability to problem solve, prioritising workloads
- Agility to adapt as business requires
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Ability to involve and motivate your team to reach store targets
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience as a fresh produce or retail department lead
**What you will be doing**:
- Passionate about customer service and developing teams
- Leading a small team on a day-to-day basis, allocating duties and ensuring productivity
- Maximise sales and profitability by ensuring customer focused service
- Provide a positive working environment, motivating and encouraging overall employee morale
- Assisting with onboarding, training, and mentoring junior staff
- Stock purchasing, inventory control and management
- Monitoring and overseeing in-store promotions
- Ensuring effective OH & S standards are being maintained
