Our client is looking for a talented and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their team in a full-time capacity.
This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must be based in Darwin, Northern Territory, as regular travel to client sites within Darwin may be required. You will also be required to travel to Melbourne for training and team events.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring the continuous availability, reliability and scalability of the client's platforms
* Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, anomalies and potential issues
* Providing ongoing technical support, incident response and troubleshooting
* Developing solutions to minimise system downtime and service disruptions
* Automating repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
* Collaborating with internal teams to optimise infrastructure and platform performance
* Monitoring integrations between the client's platforms and Electricity Utility systems to ensure ongoing stability and reliability
About You
The client is looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps or similar role
* Has strong expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
* Has experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
* Has knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus and Grafana
* Has a solid understanding of networking, databases and server management
* Has excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
* Takes a proactive, solution-focused approach with their work
* Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
