Opportunity
As a Sourcing Recruiter, you will play a key role in building strong talent pipelines that support both current and future hiring needs. This includes identifying and engaging high-quality candidates using targeted sourcing strategies and market insights.
Working closely with recruiters, you'll help deliver qualified talent while ensuring a well‐organised and compliant sourcing process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, outreach, and uncovering top talent in a fast‐paced environment.
This is a permanent full‐time opportunity and can be based in either Melbourne (preferred), Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane.
The successful candidate must be eligible to hold a Baseline AGSVA security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Design and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive talent using a range of tools and platforms
* Conduct market research, talent mapping, and competitor analysis to support priority hiring needs
* Build and maintain accurate, audit‐ready pipelines within ATS/CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance
* Deliver qualified candidate slates to recruiters, including screening insights and role alignment
* Track and analyse sourcing metrics to optimise strategies and inform hiring forecasts
* Partner with recruiters, marketing, and program teams to align sourcing efforts, enhance employer branding, and support hard‐to‐fill roles
* Contribute to strategic initiatives and provide market insights on talent availability, locations, and compensation
* Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes, tools, and overall efficiency
* Support hiring events and related activities as required
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in talent sourcing or recruiting operations
* Hands‐on experience using applicant tracking systems and/or talent CRMs for candidate management and reporting
* Demonstrated ability to execute sourcing campaigns using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and resume databases
Desirable
* A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
* Experience sourcing for security‐cleared roles or within government contracting environments
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as OFCCP, AAP, and EEO, including maintaining audit‐ready documentation
