Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Motor Assessor to join our team. As a Motor Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and negotiating with repairers to achieve the best repair method, cost, and quality outcomes.
You will also be required to manage escalations and disputes, ensuring timely and fair resolutions. Additionally, you will conduct reinspections, audits, and quality checks to maintain repair standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate with repairers to achieve optimal repair outcomes.
* Assess vehicles on-road and via desktop using our assessing frameworks.
* Manage disputes and ensure fair resolutions.
* Conduct quality checks to maintain repair standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A trade qualification in motor assessment or a related field.
* Strong technical knowledge and customer service skills.
* At least 3 years' post-trade qualification experience in quote writing and assessing/estimating skills.
* Hands-on experience in panel beating, spray painting, or mechanical repairs (Cert III or equivalent).
