We're partnering with a highly regarded commercial advisory firm with deep roots across government, infrastructure, and major project delivery. With continued growth in Canberra, they're seeking a senior infrastructure advisory professional — ideally with an engineering, legal, or commercial background — to support and lead engagements on major projects across transport, energy, social infrastructure, and defence.
This is a role for someone who understands the big picture — but also knows how to structure the details.
About the Opportunity
You'll join a tight-knit and experienced team providing strategic, commercial, and transactional advice to government clients. From early project concept and procurement design through to delivery support, dispute resolution, and operational advice, you'll play a key role across the full project lifecycle.
You'll lead engagements, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and help government clients structure and deliver projects that drive real public value.
Your Impact:
* Advise on project delivery and procurement strategies across a wide range of sectors
* Lead development of commercial frameworks, business cases, and transaction support
* Support or lead contract negotiations, claims management, and risk allocation
* Drive best practice approaches to public-private partnerships (PPPs), alliancing, and traditional delivery models
* Influence and manage key stakeholder relationships across all levels of government
* Mentor junior consultants and help build out a high-performing Canberra team
You Bring:
* 8+ years of experience in infrastructure advisory, commercial management, or consulting
* Strong track record of advising government clients on complex projects
* Deep knowledge of procurement frameworks, project delivery models, and commercial negotiations
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, law, project management, or a related field
* Experience across transport, energy, defence, or social infrastructure projects
* A pragmatic mindset with the confidence to provide senior-level advice
