Following a recent acquisition, the team is growing, and our client is seeking a motivated Cash Operations Team Leader, reporting into the Senior Cash Operations Manager and will involve supporting the wider finance team and company.

Adding to this momentum, the recent acquisition of a $1.3 billion portfolio from one of Australia's major banks has created even more opportunities for growth and impact.
The Role
This position is central to ensuring the smooth flow of daily cash transactions for retail customers. Reporting to the Senior Cash Operations Manager, you will manage a team responsible for payment processing, reconciliations, and loan contract administration.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll lead improvement initiatives, streamline workflows, and act as a go-to expert on the company's loan management platforms (Infolease10 and FIS/Ambit Asset Finance). Partnering closely with Finance, Treasury, and Customer Solutions, you'll play a vital role in maintaining robust controls, enhancing service delivery, and supporting system upgrades and product changes.
Responsibilities
* Direct and coordinate daily payment, transfer, and receipt operations.
* Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations, with issues escalated and resolved promptly.
* Provide coaching, development, and performance management for the team.
* Collaborate with customer-facing teams to align operational processes for better service outcomes.
* Lead the implementation of new loan products, system improvements, and process enhancements.
* Troubleshoot operational challenges, identify root causes, and drive sustainable fixes.
* Participate in company-wide projects, testing, and technology rollouts.
Experience Required
* Operational leadership experience in banking, finance, or a similar high-volume transaction environment.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proven success in process optimisation and change initiatives.
* High attention to accuracy and compliance, with a strong control mindset.
* Customer-oriented with the ability to collaborate across multiple business units.
