Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinema, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 5 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Chahoya Day Spa and Hair Salon.
We are currently seeking a customer service professional to join our small, friendly resort based Reservations department as a Groups and Guests Service Coordinator on a Full-Time Basis.
You will be responsible for FIT, group & conference bookings with the aim of maximizing service, yield and occupancy.
This Position Will Involve
* Liaising with Wholesalers, Travel Agents, Tour Group Companies, OTA's & Professional Conference Organizers (PCO's).
* Cooperating, coordinating and communicating closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing and with other resort departments as required.
* Report directly to the Reservations Manager or in their absence the Sales Manager.
* Work in conjunction with the Reservations Manager and Reservation Clerk on projects and day to day tasks.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
* Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality/ Tourism industry (essential).
* Proven customer service experience.
* Certification in Hospitality, Training Small Groups, Management or Supervision and/or Health and Safety Standards is an advantage.
* Must have strong computer skills, preferably with Hotel/ Resort Front of House systems.
* Proven administrative experience including organizational and time management skills.
