Excavator / Bobcat Operator Duration: Approximately 6 months (Potential for a permanent full-time role) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm Overview Join our client as a Multi-Skilled Excavator/Bobcat Operator for an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a recreational park development project. This role involves initial earthworks, construction of recreational facilities such as running tracks, water parks, landscaped gardens, sports ovals, and playgrounds. Responsibilities Operate 5-8 tonne excavators and Bobcat/Skid Steer machines to conduct precise and efficient earthworks. Prepare land for initial construction, including trench excavation, drainage installation, and material transportation. Participate in landscaping bulk works to enhance the park's aesthetics and functional design. Safely move pipes and materials across the site, ensuring the project stays on track and under safety standards. Collaborate with project team members to execute the development plan effectively. Maintain machinery in optimal condition to prevent project delays and ensure safe operations. Qualifications Essential: - Valid White Card. - Valid driver's license and reliable transport. - Proven experience in civil projects, particularly outdoor work involving long hours in diverse weather conditions. - Proficiency in operating 5-8 tonne excavators and Bobcat/PosiTrack machines on active civil sites. - Possession of a Bobcat/Skid Steer/Posi Track Ticket (RIIMPO318F) and Excavator Ticket (RIIMPO320F). - Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with a commitment to minimizing absenteeism.
