RWAP is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Representative with a strong background in B2B construction sales to actively bring work into the business.

This role is for someone who understands construction, can price work accurately, follow quotes through to close, and build long-term contractor relationships.

About the Role

This is a hands-on sales role combining office-based work and on-site customer visits across NSW.

You will be responsible for generating leads, estimating and quoting jobs, chasing quotes, tendering projects, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively calling builders, concreters, steel fixers, and civil contractors daily
* Visiting active construction sites across NSW to identify opportunities
* Building and maintaining long-term trade relationships
* Estimating, pricing, and quoting construction and steel-related work
* Preparing and submitting tenders and bids for projects
* Following up quotes daily until closed
* Opening new trade accounts and securing repeat business
* Managing your own sales pipeline and customer portfolio
* Collecting project details, schedules, and scope information
* Reporting weekly on activity, pipeline, and results

What We're Looking For

* Minimum 6 years' experience in B2B construction sales (steel, building materials, civil, or related sectors)
* Proven experience in estimating, quoting, and closing deals
* Strong understanding of construction processes and contractor workflows
* Confident communicating with builders, site supervisors, and project managers
* Experience with tenders and project-based sales
* Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
* Comfortable working independently and being accountable for performance

* Consistency of follow-up and pipeline management

Important Note

This role is not suited to junior salespeople or candidates without construction industry experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $83,200.00 – $114,000.00 per year
