Supply Chain Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, from onboarding suppliers to placing orders and monitoring commodity pricing.

This role requires strong negotiation, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, preferably within the Defence Industry. A Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is desirable, but relevant work experience may also be considered.

The ideal candidate will have extensive supply chain experience, including:

* Negotiation and agreement management
* Supplier performance management
* Purchasing and contracting

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the Supply Chain Manager will also be required to:

* Evaluate quotations received from suppliers
* Demonstrate leadership skills in managing a team
* Showcase strong written and verbal communication skills
