About Your Lab
Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics is a GMP facility for the manufacture of investigational cell therapy products for internal and external clients. Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics provide clean room facilities, storage and quality management to facilitate the transition from research to validated manufacturing processes, as well as contract manufacturing services.
Role Purpose / Responsibilities
Applications are invited for an experienced Quality Assurance Operations Lead. This is a pivotal role responsible for leading and overseeing all quality assurance activities within the QIMRB cell therapy manufacturing facility (Q-Gen Cell Therapeutics). You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards to support the safe, consistent, and timely delivery of advanced cell therapy products. As QA Operations lead you will act as second in-charge (2IC) for the Quality Manager.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related discipline
* Minimum 3-5 years' QA experience in GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical or cell therapy manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of cell therapy manufacturing processes, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom operations.
* Proven experience in managing audits, regulatory inspections, and quality systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Remuneration:
Salary range is $109,791 to $121,898 p.a. plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
