Job Description:
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Bunbury team. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make an impact in the Southwest region.
The successful candidate will work primarily in bushfire management with some environmental assessment and approvals. Project management and regular client liaison will be key to the role.
About the Role
* Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake and/or assist with desktop and on-ground site inspections.
* Prepare a range of bushfire and environmental assessment and reporting outputs.
* Conduct site inspections to inform opportunities and constraints assessments.
* Work towards or apply relevant WA bushfire policy and guidelines.
* Assess environmental attributes, settings, and constraints for development projects.
* Deliver high-quality approval applications and technical reports.
* Develop relationships with clients and ensure high quality customer service.
* Prepare proposals and manage projects in line with client and company expectations.
About You
* You will be early in your environmental professional career with at least 2 years' experience in environmental management, assessment, or approvals.
* You will have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Engineering and previous experience working in environmental assessments and approvals.
* You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
* You will also have full drivers' licence, and willingness to obtain a police and medical clearance.
