**About the role**
This role will focus on the development and support of core IT operations services and managing key capabilities in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) products.
In this role, you will lead development and communication of the Service Vision and Roadmap, ensuring alignment between customer needs and business outcomes. Leading the Citizen Developer program within Service Operations, you will drive service improvements by transforming strategic opportunities into implemented solutions, ensuring continuous enhancement to meet organisational and NSW Government objectives through comprehensive service lifecycle management.
This role is part of the Service Lifecycle Management team within IT Service Operations, which focuses on service design and catalogue improvements, asset and configuration management, service transition, and change management. The IT Service Manager will work closely with this team to support the delivery of change programs, analyse and report on data-driven insights, and identify opportunities for service improvements through automation and streamlined design.
**About you**
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of IT Service Management or IT Operations Management best practices, standards and technologies in an Enterprise Service Management environment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage teams, work practices, and methodologies to achieve business outcomes.
