What this job can offer you
As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, you'll help prospective and active customers fully experience our Global HR Platform. You'll respond to inbound queries and let customers understand how to maximize Remote's products to meet their employment needs, working within our fair price guarantee culture.
What you bring
* Proven business development success using core sales tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator; Chorus a plus).
* Experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS tech company.
* Skillful negotiation, persuasive idea selling, and a positive, energetic phone presence.
* Strategic and tactical thinking, resilience in face of rejection, and a strong sense of urgency.
* Self‐starter who actively contributes new ideas.
* Highly self‐motivated with diligence and a disciplined work ethic.
* Successful track record in the key responsibilities below.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Remote work experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to, engage, and qualify outbound leads and inquiries.
* Sourcing new prospects and arranging appointments for Account Executives.
* Communicate Remote's value propositions clearly and assess fit.
* Support Account Executive team as needed.
* Educate and develop prospects through to hand‐off to sales team.
* Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts.
* Make cold calls to prospects from various sources.
* Research, identify key players, define business requirements, and present solutions to start the sales cycle.
Practicals
* Reporting to: Manager, Outbound Sales Development.
* Location: Australia / New Zealand (fully remote).
* Start date: As soon as possible.
Remote Compensation Philosophy
The on‐target earnings range for this role is $61,000 USD to $71,000 USD, with base salary at 70 %. Compensation is determined by role, level, and location, and is subject to change.
