We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our Payment & Cards solutions.

* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Java and integration.
Key responsibilities include providing expert technical leadership, collaborating with stakeholders, overseeing changes into production, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
Responsibilities
* Software Development: Provide expert technical leadership and guidance to the Payments & Cards team on software engineering solutions and implementations with a strong focus on Java.
* Integration: Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and secure Payments & Cards solutions that meet business requirements, strategic goals, and security and compliance requirements.
* Change Management: Lead and oversee changes into production, ensuring that development, design, testing, and verification adhere to strict ITIL standards and maintain strong Secure Stable & Resilient (SSR) standards, minimizing impacts to customers and staff.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, delivery leads, and analysts, to ensure effective collaboration and seamless integration of Payment & Cards platforms with other systems and applications.
* Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including software development lifecycle, architecture diagrams, and design specifications to ensure clarity and maintainability of customer platform solutions.
Requirements
* Extensive software language knowledge (server-side, front-end, or DevOps).
* Competent in use, support, and development of software applications across various platforms, including programming languages Java.
* Financial services & payment's expertise in NPP is highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge about Software Development Life Cycle, development, test/deployment automation.
* Strong understanding of API design and development.
