Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently service, maintain, and repair plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
* Execute daily work tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor or Leading Hand, meeting quality standards and time constraints.
* Accurately complete and submit work orders, purchase orders, and part requisitions on a daily basis.
* Diligently monitor and record stock and part levels, promptly reporting any discrepancies.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
* Diagnose complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian-recognised Diesel/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate.
* Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair.
* Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
* Valid HR Licence (preferred).
