Our new purpose-built Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic will provide a premium breast imaging service to the patients of Geelong, using the best technology – Contrast Enhanced Mammography, the latest state-of-the-art imaging technique.
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to work in our outstanding Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic and the Geelong BreastScreen Service.
Responsibilities
Perform high-level mammography independently in accordance with prescribed professional and clinical standards within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Participate in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography.
Regularly participate in interventional diagnostic breast imaging as well as assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced-level procedures.
Provide a role in competency training, skill development and clinical supervision to less experienced mammographers, ensuring maintenance of professional standards and adherence to IDX policies and procedures as well as BreastScreen policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Attributes
Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent)
Current licensing and registrations; this includes registration with AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance.
Extensive experience and competency in diagnostic breast imaging, screening mammography and assessment procedures.
A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programmes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail.
A passionate and "can-do" attitude towards work.
