 
        
        The role of Utility Services Officer is a pivotal one, providing administrative support to the Manager and team in delivering high-level services across Council's water, sewerage, and waste functions.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive officer who can bring strong administrative and systems support expertise to this diverse and rewarding position.
This role offers the opportunity to combine administration, regulatory compliance, data reporting, and customer service in a technical or operational setting.
Key responsibilities will include:
 * Providing operational support to managers and staff by coordinating meter reading rounds and acting as a central point of contact for Utility Services functions;
 * Managing data reporting cycles with accuracy, including data cleansing, validation, and preparation for water meter reading activities;
 * Administering audit processes for water consumption reporting, ensuring accuracy in reports used for billing;
 * Making informed decisions using data, knowledge, and consultation with key stakeholders and authorised officers;
 * And managing all administrative functions efficiently and effectively within the Utility Services department.
The successful candidate will be confident using business systems, handling data with precision, and providing excellent customer service across a range of utility-related functions. An understanding of local government operations and utility services will be highly regarded.

The salary for this position is between $78,260 and $130,878 per annum.
