Event Coordinator Role:
This is a full-time opportunity to work as an Event Coordinator, managing events across multiple sites for a market leader with a strong focus on work-life balance and team collaboration.
The ideal candidate will possess trade certification in Commercial Cookery or similar Hospitality qualifications and previous experience in contract catering, event management, and/or corporate hospitality.

Main Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute all aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and entertainment.
* Develop event timelines, schedules, and agendas, ensuring all logistical details are accounted for.
* Oversee event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Key Skills and Attributes:
* Experience and understanding of Food Authority Legislation and Accreditation process.
* Humble, down-to-earth, able to use initiative, and demonstration of leadership skills.
* Developing and maintaining strong and effective client relationships.
* Achievement of financial management through goods & labor.
* A strong Workplace Health and Safety and Compliance focus.
* Managing staff turnover and effective recruitment.
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
