An excellent opportunity is available for an Orthopaedic Registrar / Principal House Officer (PHO) to join a high-performing regional surgical service in North Queensland.
This 12-month full-time contract offers strong operative exposure, structured supervision, and the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Work within a busy Orthopaedic unit providing care across: Acute trauma; Elective orthopaedic surgery; Fracture clinic; Inpatient management; On-call roster participation

Qualifications and Requirements
* MBBS (or equivalent) eligible for registration with AHPRA
* PGY3 or higher (onshore candidates preferred)
* Demonstrated interest in Orthopaedics and/or career alignment with the specialty

* Competent Authority pathway candidates with 1–2+ years orthopaedic experience
* Doctors with prior surgical rotations seeking structured orthopaedic exposure
