**Your new role**
Your impact and contribution Your role is responsible for end-to-end design and management of communications and content for members, employers, advisers and licensees from strategy through to analysing outcomes.
Critical to success will be the effective management of stakeholder relationships at all levels across the business - with a particular focus on relationships with the Product, Distribution, Marketing and Project teams.
Also key is the ability to plan and execute in a strategic manner, excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet tight (and changing) deadlines, and robust writing skills.
- Develop and deliver a holistic communication strategy and plan to address a business need, project, product change, or regulatory initiative.
Align with business strategy, brand strategy and campaigns, and project objectives.
- Consider the impact on all customer groups (licensees, advisers, employers and members) and devise appropriate key messages and select channels to optimise effectiveness and impact.
- Work closely with other Communications team members to co-ordinate our external messages.
- Manage suppliers (internal and external), including Content Specialists within the team, to deliver communications and content.
- Be customer centric, champion the best experience for our customers, and use design thinking approaches to deliver innovative and creative solutions.
- Act as a brand champion, in particular, ensure compliance with visual language, tone of voice, and writing guidelines.
- Ensure any reputational / communications risks are raised and managed within BAU and Project channels.
- Ensure issues are raised and managed with the Corporate Affairs team where required.
- Comply with risk management frameworks.
- Understand the key business metrics, operations and business drivers that drive results for your team, the business and your stakeholders.
**What you'll need to succeed**

- In-depth understanding of the financial services industry and B2B channel marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in financial services marketing and communications within an intermediated business model, and with a strong understanding of licensee, adviser, employer and member channels.
- Exceptional written communications skills with the ability to simplify complex, technical information for members.
- Excellent verbal communication and relationship management skills to negotiate the best outcome for the customer.
- Strong organisational skills, proven capability to implement initiatives and ‘get things done’, with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.
- Proven capability of innovative and creative thinking.
- Have a continuous improvement mentality, always looking to ways to improve the experience and results.
- The ability to collaborate ‘up’, ‘down’, ‘across’ and ‘into’ the businesses and develop strong relationships.
- Marketing or communications degree qualified.
- Experience working in Super or Investment
