Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will involve assisting with the day-to-day operations of our service, managing a team of Educators, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting the Service Coordinator with the development of quality programs
* Managing the day-to-day running of the programs
* Supporting the Coordinator with staff management
* Ensuring compliance with policy
* Undertaking administrative requirements
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with families and the school community to provide high-quality care and education to children. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective administration and documentation in an OSHC service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Completed or be actively studying a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services)
* Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare
* Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
* Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
