Broadcast Technician Role Overview
Job Summary:
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a variety of transmission systems and associated infrastructure including AM, FM & Digital Radio and TV broadcast networks, Telco Network and Land Mobile Radio Trunking network.
You will be responsible for participating in the on-call roster, installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast and communication equipment and other infrastructure. This includes installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment such as transmitters, antennas, and cabling systems.
Responsibilities:
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast and communication equipment and other infrastructure.
* Service restoration – competently respond to service outages, act independently to restore services promptly so that service availability and fault response requirements are met.
* Maintenance and fault response of LMR Telco Network.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of broadcast and communication systems.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
