Your new role
As Branch Manager, you will operate as a key member of the management team, taking ownership of the day-to-day performance of the branch across office, warehouse, and customer-facing operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage people, processes, and resources to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. While working within established systems, you'll also be encouraged to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and coordinating office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operationsDriving customer service excellence and supporting sales activity and lead generationOverseeing administration functions including orders, invoicing, payments, freight, and delivery planningManaging warehouse operations in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor, including receiving, despatch, stock control, and returnsEnsuring Workplace Health & Safety compliance across the entire siteManaging stock counts and preparing for annual stocktakeLiaising with interstate colleagues, suppliers, and external partnersIdentifying procedural gaps and implementing agreed process improvementsSupporting a positive team culture through clear communication, accountability, and leadership
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership roleStrong people management and team engagement skillsExperience operating across both office and warehouse environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience using sales or ERP softwareExcellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsThe ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demandsA calm, professional, and ethical approach when under pressureStrong communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels Key licenses and certifications required:
Current Australian Manual Driver's LicenseCurrent MR Truck Driver's License (Desirable)Current Forklift LicenseFirst Aid Certificate (Basic & CPR) - employer funded if not already held
