With a strong pipeline of developments and an entrepreneurial culture, we are seeking a hands-on CFO to join the leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy of the group.The RoleReporting to the CEO and the Board, you will oversee all aspects of finance, governance, and funding across the group.Responsibilities include:Designing and executing the group finance strategy, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.Acting as a financial steward across multiple project entities, managing dispersal of funds and optimising capital allocation.Leading on funding requirements: structuring, sourcing, and securing debt and equity finance for developments.Building and leveraging networks within banking, private equity, and investor communities to secure growth capital.Overseeing compliance, risk management, corporate governance, and audit requirements across the group.Delivering accurate and timely reporting for the Board, investors, and stakeholders.Developing finance systems, processes, and controls to support scalability.Providing commercial insights to guide investment decisions, project feasibility, and group strategy.Leading and mentoring a Financial Controller and small finance teamCandidate Requirements:We are seeking a highly capable, commercially astute finance leader who brings:Proven track record in senior finance roles (CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance), ideally within property, funds management, or related sectors.Deep experience in structuring and securing debt and equity funding, with strong existing networks across the banking, investment, and private equity landscape in Australia.Exposure to both private and public sector funding environments, and ideally offshore investment management experience.Strong technical finance, compliance, and risk knowledge, coupled with strategic vision.Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.A proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset – comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.Attractive executive remuneration package tailored to experience and value brought.Opportunity to directly shape the finance strategy of a high-growth development group.Significant exposure to large-scale projects and capital structuring.Career growth within a scaling organisation, with succession opportunities as the group expands.Flexibility and lifestyle benefits of working on the Gold Coast, one of Australia's most desirable locations.Why Join Our Client?
