About the Role

Provide high quality care as a specialist in Haematology, both in an admitting Haematology unit and within the outpatient department in Grampians healt- h
Contribute to the growth of the haematology unit which is composed of six part time enthusiastic haematologists- .
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Haematology team in the inpatient, outpatient, and day oncology unit setting

Attend a weekly outpatient clinic within the BRICC, and an outreach clinic in Stawell fortnightl- y
Participate in the ward service roster and after hour on call roste- r
Contribute and assist with supervision, training and practice of allocated haematology advanced trainee, trainee medical officers and medical students, including the provision of appraisal- s
Participate in haematology multidisciplinary meetings, morphology meetings, morbidity and mortality meeting- s
Skills & Experience
Hold a current FRACP in Haematolog

A qualified medical practitioner, i.e., MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australi- a
Well-developed clinical skills in the assessment and management of haematology patient- s
Good communication skill- s
An ability to supervise the activities of junior medical staff- .
