Fixed Term, Part–Time Disability Coordinator

Duration: Fixed Term, Part‐Time (0.6 FTE) until 26 March 2027. Location: Seymour or Shepparton offices (Goulburn Area).

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the implementation of programmes designed to improve the educational outcomes for students with disabilities and additional learning needs, including strategies that ensure inclusive practices and effective educational programmes to support students with disabilities in schools from Foundation to year 12 within a multidisciplinary team. The Disability Coordinator works within the Health, Wellbeing and Specialist Services branch and collaborates with area staff, divisional staff and central staff. The coordinator develops, builds and maintains close working relationships with regional staff and schools, establishes linkages with health and wellbeing service providers, finds innovative solutions to stakeholder issues, overcomes barriers, garners support and negotiates appropriate outcomes in complex cases, and prepares high‐quality correspondence and briefings for management when required. The position also provides training and support for inclusive education and the effective implementation of the Program for Students with Disabilities and Disability Inclusion, and manages projects to drive change for schools to deliver effective educational outcomes for students with disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience
* Desirable: a relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Nursing, Disabilities Services or Allied Health.
* Current Working With Children Check.
