About the Role
The ICT Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, leadership, and delivery of key ICT systems reform initiatives within Application Services. This includes end-to-end management of significant system and application transformation projects, ensuring delivery of timely, high-quality, and fit-for-purpose outcomes aligned to business and modernisation objectives. The role covers all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to implementation and handover to operations, and involves leading project teams including staff, contractors, and external vendors, to deliver project outcomes effectively. The ICT Project Manager will drive stakeholder engagement, oversee risk and change management processes, manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure adherence to governance frameworks. This role supports uplift of Application Services through delivery of streamlined, modernised ICT systems.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage end-to-end ICT projects from initiation through to delivery and handover to operations.
* Coordinate project teams, including department staff, contractors and external vendors.
* Engage stakeholders and manage risk, change control and governance compliance.
* Oversee project budgets, schedules and quality to ensure timely, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
* Support modernisation and uplift of Application Services through streamlined ICT systems.

Special conditions
* The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to employment, renewed every five years.
* RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
