What You'll Be Doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Working Foreman to join our team. This is not a desk job, you'll be overseeing multiple residential projects while being hands-on when required. Projects range from $250,000 through to builds exceeding $1,000,000, giving you exposure to a wide variety of residential construction styles.
You'll be supported by our Director and office staff, with everything you need to manage projects efficiently and keep sites running smoothly.
When you're not working hands on on-site, you'll be:
* Supervising up to 8 custom residential builds simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Preparing and maintaining construction programs to coordinate trades and materials efficiently.
* Regularly inspecting sites to ensure workmanship meets building codes, safety standards, and client expectations.
* Maintaining accurate records of site activities, project updates, and variations.
* Monitoring budgets and costs across multiple builds.
* Quickly resolving site challenges to keep projects moving.
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors and team members to ensure smooth delivery.
What We're Looking For:
* Must be a qualified carpenter (licensed preferred).
* Must have your own tools and reliable transport.
* Solid knowledge of construction processes and project delivery.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
