The role of Diary and Administrative Officer is a dynamic opportunity to provide administrative support and contribute to the effective operation of an electoral office.


Key Responsibilities

* Act as the first point of contact for constituents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
* Manage the Parliamentarian's diary, coordinating appointments, travel, and logistics.
* Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, database management, and supply management.
* Facilitate voter engagement and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
* Liaise with government departments and organizations, arrange events and meetings.


About the Role

This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team. The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications, experience in office administration, stakeholder engagement, customer service, and event management.


Essential Requirements

* Academic qualifications in business management, economics, or law (desirable).
* Relevant work experience in office administration, stakeholder engagement, customer service, and event management.
* Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
* Well-developed IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
