About the Role

The Manager Advancement Alumni and Events provides leadership and expertise for high-level engagement with our communities, alumni, industry, and other partners to generate a positive alumni and philanthropic community.

This role will collaborate closely with our stakeholders, major donors, benefactors, alumni, and partners within Australia and internationally. The position has line management responsibility for staff in fundraising and alumni, and external engagement, and will work closely with Corporate Communications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven success in external engagement and stakeholder management
* Experience in fundraising campaigns and major donor development
* Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated team building and mentoring skills
* Superior interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of CRM systems and risk management strategies
* Understanding of philanthropic activities in the Australian Higher Education sector
