Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career‑enhancing opening for Full‑Time Day‑Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Broadmeadows, VIC facility.
Hourly Rate: $52‑57 + super
Shift: 5/6am – 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available for those interested – x2.0
Workday: 8‑hour shifts, 38‑hour week
Key Responsibilities
* Key focus on Automation‑related project work
* Organise and maintain the day‑to‑day running of the sites automated production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property
* Keep equipment performing to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible
* Maintaina preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns
Ideal Candidate
* Full A‑grade electrical licence and good understanding of fault finding and repair of high‑speed production machinery, such as conveyors, robots, packaging
* Experience in FMCG environment with understanding of good manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
* Motor control, PLC (troubleshooting/fault‑finding) and VSD experience
* Very positive attitude, motivated by continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team
