Practice Group Summary
Strategic Communications services include Corporate Communications, Financial and Transaction Communications, Investor Relations, Public Affairs and Campaigns, Crisis and Special Situations, and Research.
Your team
The Strategic Communications division of Sodali & Co are experts in helping clients navigate and manage the complex dynamic of shareholder and stakeholder interests to drive successful outcomes and build long-term stakeholder capital.
The Investor Relations team is specifically focused on IR advisory, implementing strategic financial calendar programs, proactive market engagement, investor roadshows, perceptions audits, investor and analyst targeting and providing market intelligence.
You will be joining a high-performing team of IR consultants based in Sydney and Perth, working with clients across all sectors and market capitalisations, including some of the ASX's largest listed companies.

Your role
In the role of Senior Director you will:
* Lead and actively support a team to run multiple client projects and accounts.
* Develop and execute investor relations strategies for a portfolio of clients.
* Represent clients professionally in direct stakeholder management initiatives.
* Draft (and oversee the drafting of) client collateral such as presentations, ASX announcements, key messages, Q&A and other stakeholder communications.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as investors, stockbrokers, research analysts and other advisors.
* Proactively anticipate potential issues and develop strategic solutions to address them.
* Gain exposure to other areas of the firm, including as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
* Help to grow the company's base of clients through active business development and leveraging your professional networks.
* Contribute to building and marketing the Sodali & Co. brand by participating in market-facing events and contributing to thought leadership.

Your experience and qualifications
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Investor Relations or a related field. Financial literacy is a prerequisite.
* The role would also suit someone with experience in investment management, equity research, equity capital markets or investment banking, or corporate law who is looking for a career change.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, highly articulate with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative thinker with demonstrated problem-solving capability with high attention to detail and ability to ensure the quality and accuracy of work.
* A proactive self-starter ready to hit the ground running and lead client engagements from the get-go with oversight from management.
* Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt quickly to business and client needs.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple client engagements concurrently.
* Management or formal mentorship experience is preferred.
