Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south‐eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ‐centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Property Team Member to be available to work across our Drouin, Drouin East, Traralgon and/or Leongatha campuses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and provide important improvement and maintenance to our campuses.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
* Using vehicles, plant, mowers and other equipment required to undertake daily routine tasks in a safe manner
* Working with skilled tradespersons at times to service and maintain facilities and equipment as required
* As part of the team, maintaining records of essential services and OHS tests and checks
Qualifications & Requirements
* Demonstrated commitment to the school's Statement of Faith
* Skills and experience in the operation of tools, plant and machinery
* Understanding and experience in relation to OHS procedures
* Trade certificates or related qualifications (desirable)
