Overview
Air Liquide Australia is a market leader in Gases, Technologies and Services for Industry in Australia. Air Liquide Australia provides innovative, responsive and customer focused services to our product range, which improves the performance of our customers while helping protect the environment.
Responsibilities
* Work on a wide range of commercial contracts, such as
o industrial gas supply contracts with customers
o agreements with agents and distributors
o purchase contracts for services, equipment, energy, and transport sourcing
* Drafting and negotiation of contracts
* Provide varied commercial and compliance legal advice and assist in dispute resolution
* Support sales team and procurement contracting processes
* Provide internal legal training, focusing on competition and consumer law, contracting skills for sales and procurement teams, and anti-corruption
* Advise on a range of compliance topics, in particular competition and small business contract / consumer law
* Participate in workshops and discussions with the broader Air Liquide international legal team
* Background involvement in construction law contracts, privacy law, employment law, and health and safety laws is not essential but well regarded
* Inhouse experience preferred but not required
* Demonstrated experience in commercial contract drafting and review
* Strong communication, technical drafting and problem-solving skills; superior attention to detail and good organizational skills
* Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a small team
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Law with 5-8+ years PQE of practicing experience
* Hold a current Australian practising certificate or be eligible for admission
