Job Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing workplace health and safety programs to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
* Develop and implement WHS training, inductions, emergency response procedures, and return-to-work processes to mitigate risks.
* Maintain the operational efficiency of the Head Office building by coordinating maintenance, contractor management, and internal service requests.
* Administer and manage a Tool of Trade fleet to support field sales teams in their operations.
* Ensure effective security access control, seating plans, and storage management systems are in place.
* Supervise two direct reports: the Head Office Concierge and Material Labourer, providing guidance and leadership to enhance job performance.
* Collaborate closely with internal departments, site WHS personnel, and external vendors to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Guidance: Provide strategic direction to direct reports, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
WHS Management: Develop, implement, and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Fleet Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Tool of Trade fleet, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition and meet operational needs.
Facilities Management: Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of the Head Office building to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Support Services: Manage internal service requests, including seating plans, storage management, and security access control.
Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal departments, site WHS personnel, and external vendors to drive business outcomes and improve overall performance.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and evaluate the performance of direct reports, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance job effectiveness.
