As a Theatre Porterage Officer with Darling Downs Health, you'll keep surgeries running smoothly, support clinical teams in action, and help patients feel safe and cared for every step of the way.
Your role is essential, hands-on, and makes a real difference in people's lives.
What your day will look like....
You'll move through theatre areas with purpose, setting up equipment, ensuring spaces are clean, organised and ready, and maintaining the flow of essential supplies.
As procedures progress, you'll support surgical and anaesthetic teams by anticipating needs, positioning and moving patients safely, and ensuring equipment is functioning and available.
You'll manage the removal of used instruments, linen and waste, uphold high housekeeping standards, and contribute to ongoing improvements in how the team delivers care.
