Care Leadership Opportunity Available
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse to lead our care team in Coffs Harbour. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in aged care, with the ability to provide high-quality care tailored to residents' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the care team in delivering high-quality care to residents.
* Supervise and assist other care staff.
* Build partnerships with each resident, respecting their dignity and focusing on their health and wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with the team to coordinate and deliver care.
* Provide complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments, and referrals.
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (DIV 1) - AHPRA registered.
* At least 2 years of experience in aged care.
* Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desired).
* Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
* Knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and ANACC (highly regarded).
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Valid police check clearance.
* Eligible to work in Australia.
