We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Manager / System Automation Specialist for a 3-month contract based in Parramatta, starting mid-October, with the potential for extension. This role is focused on optimizing collections processes through systems integration and automation, managing external collections partners, and driving performance through data and reporting. You'll play a key role in transitioning workflows, enhancing system efficiencies, and ensuring collections targets are met. Key Responsibilities: System Integration & Automation Ensure accurate and timely transfer of collections data between financial platforms (e.g., from legacy systems into ERP). Maintain and improve automated workflows for customer statements and payment reminders. Develop and manage automated data exchanges with third-party collection agencies. Design and implement a systematic process to generate and prioritize collector call lists based on account aging, risk levels, and history. Collections Management Lead the search, selection, and onboarding of a new collections partner, including conducting due diligence. Maintain and update collections policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational best practices. Performance & Reporting Monitor and manage collections KPIs and performance tracking within an ERP environment (such as NetSuite). Produce regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for process improvements. About you: Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or similar financial operations. Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite or equivalent). Familiarity with automated data handling and system integrations. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with a focus on KPI tracking and performance analysis. Background in process improvement and automation tools. Strong skills in Excel or similar data analysis platforms.
