Job Summary:
As an Associate/Vice President in the Infrastructure and Utilities Investment Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in executing the firm's business strategies and developing client relationships. You will work alongside senior bankers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the team's success. The teamhas an established track-record specialisingin providing advice toglobal institutional clients onmergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisoryacross critical Australian infrastructure assets such as ports, toll roads, regulated utilities, renewables and digital infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing advisory transactions across various products lines includingM&A, equity capital markets and debt capital markets.
* Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact, focusing on Australian deals while also engaging in global cross-border transactions.
* Develop impactful marketing materials to maximise client engagementand exceptional qualitative and numerical analysis capability to add value for clients and ensure best-in-class transaction execution outcomes.
* Coordinate with internal teamsacross products and countries, as well as external parties,such as clients, lawyers, accountants, and consultants, to ensure seamlessdelivery.
* Advise clients on integrated financial solutions, including all manner of capital raising and financial instruments includingequity capital raising (listed and unlisted), bond issuance, senior and subordinated lending, and derivatives.
* Provide timely market insightsand strategic observationsto clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in investment bankingor investment management, with a focus ontraditional or emerginginfrastructure.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting,or adjacent disciplines (Law, Engineering / STEM)
* Proven transaction experience and proficiency with industry trends.
* Highly driven, detail-oriented, and diligent, with strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
* Strong financial modelling background with infrastructure or other real assets.
* Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management, demonstrating strong business acumenand a proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships.
* Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
