Deliver essential infrastructure for a Council in Victoria. In this role, you will drive the lifecycle of diverse capital works—including road, bridge, and drainage upgrades—from the drawing board to completion.
The Role
* Project Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of the Capital Works Program, ensuring high-quality results within budget.
* Technical Leadership: Evaluate design documents, manage tender processes, and supervise site works.
* Team Mentorship: Provide guidance to technical staff and oversee the work of junior engineers and contractors.
* Community Impact: Liaise with residents and authorities to resolve technical hurdles and keep projects moving forward.
What You Bring
* Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering (Australian recognized).
* Expertise: Substantial experience in managing civil construction contracts and overseeing site activities.
* Leadership: The ability to coordinate a small team and manage external consultants effectively.
